fashion remix: graphic tulip skirt

Sorry for being late on the Friday Remix... sadly I was feeling poopy but on a happier note - I have felt pretty darn good today. Once I am over this cough I think I will be pretty much back to my old self!

I had a pretty simple Saturday - I did my nails {please excuse them, I have yet to paint them} followed by a few episodes of a new guilty pleasure, don't judge me... but I am loving Ice Loves Coco on VH1. Coco works out wearing 6 inch stilettos... insane!

{Left: The Skirt, thrifted from Plato's Closet - originally from Target}
{Right: Basic Black}

Photo at left/The Skirt: a graphic print skirt that I picked up at Plato's Closet some time ago. I fell in love with it at first sight because it made of a very soft and lightweight cotton. It also has a built in slip so if one encounters a massive gust of wind - no worries if a side blows open... very good thinking Target :)

Photo at Right/Basic Black: A safe outfit - I would wear this to work or out to something a little fancy like a romantic dinner or a social event since its pretty much all black and the jewelry is chunky, I feel like this is a very sophisticated look.

{Left: Casual Weekend Wear}
{Right: Wear it as a Shirt}

Photo at left/Casual Weekend Wear: Wearing the skirt with a bright top and flats, this is an outfit that I would wear out on the weekend to Saturday Market here in Ybor or to the movies with friends... its light and comfy and could transition to just about any event.

Photo at left/Wear it as a Shirt: This is a fun and comfy outfit that is still dressy enough for a night out on the town with the hunnie. This remix really shows the versatility of the skirt and I think that its my new favorite way to wear this piece.

If you have a suggestion for an item that you want to see me remix, hit me up at 365teresa@gmail.com I am up for the challenge :) Have a happy rest of the weekend all.
