Yesterday was a fun-filled day! I woke up so early and had an entire Saturday to do things and it was amazing.
I saw my beautiful friend Alisha and she dolled me up, just a slight trim (that somehow makes my hair look longer? huh?) and some heavy highlights to lighten up my drugstore black box debacle. I am really loving this color and while I am still VERY tempted to keep going blonder and blonder, I must say that I am very happy with it the way it is now.
After the hair party I splurged on some Smashbox Photo Finish foundation and primers in Adjust to reduce redness and Light to illuminate (my sweet boyfriend even knew said it was the "best kind").
I made a few friends at PetSmart, they were doing doggie adoptions so of course I picked up every dog and let it kiss me and in turn kissed and loved it... as much as I want a dog, I know that we arent ready to have a 2nd pet, especially one that requires a schedule and structure. Maybe in a year or so we will be settled enough and ready to have a yard and a dog.
The doggie adoptions did get my wheels turning though... I really want to sign up to be a volunteer a few days a month to help out with the adoptions. I would certainly give me my puppy fix and I would get to see them go home with a new loving family, that makes me smile just thinking about it.
